Moving to Florida after 3 years in Costa Rica
Share
A few months ago I moved to Florida from Costa Rica. That was not easy but needed. I've finally adjusted to being back in the states. There are perks that I forgot about. I'm grateful to be anywhere on this beautiful earth. I miss Costa Rica so much, but I am doing well here in Florida. And I believe it will be much better for my art business.
I've been looking for an art community here that vibes with me. I've found quite a few communities for artists, but I'm trying to find the artsy, eccentric, music-loving, deep-diving artist folk. Point me in the right direction, Melbourne! I've visited quite a few galleries, so I am trying to find ones that do well and fit my style.
Anyways, life is sooo good. I live 5 minutes from the beach, Publix, and the schools... and I'm loving that. In Costa Rica it was 30 minutes to anywhere. See there are perks for every place. I live on a quiet road where I can walk to the river and sit peacefully on the water. I see ibis birds almost every day. I eat potatoes almost every day. I get to shop at Target and Aldi and Hobby Lobby again. I get to be near my family. I get to eat real sour cream and peaches. (Only my Costa Rican friends will understand hehe) I am loving life and enjoying the little things.
I will visit my favorite country again. Costa Rica, you are so beautiful and I will love you forever. xoxo
