About R.Harvey
Rachel has been an artist her entire life. From a young age, she was always making something. One of her earliest creations was a small bell she crafted to hang outside her bedroom door, imagining her room as a tiny house. Made from paper, tape, and a dinging bell, it was rough and imperfect—but it was a beginning. Creativity often starts that way: raw and unpolished. Yet Rachel’s imagination never stopped. She is a dreamer, a problem solver, and someone who believes every challenge has a solution waiting to be found.
Her love for creating led her to study graphic design at an art school in Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduating, she began her career designing signs at a small shop in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout her artistic career, she enjoyed the variety of work—designing signs, logos, print materials, and websites—and still found time to paint whenever she could.
Over time, Rachel discovered that painting brought her deeper fulfillment than graphic design. Gradually, she transitioned to focus on painting full-time. For Rachel, painting is a way to lose herself in a world of color and creativity, producing works that are entirely her own.
Today, Rachel paints nearly every day in her studio in Costa Rica. Creating wildlife art that is uniquely hers fills her with joy and gratitude. Living an artistic life in such a beautiful place feels like a dream come true, and she’s thrilled to share her work with the world.
